Cuiken Primary School is a non-denominational school situated on Cuiken Terrace in Penicuik and is one of four primary schools associated with Penicuik High School. The catchment area stretches from the immediate vicinity of the school to the countryside to the west of Penicuik including Silverburn and Ninemileburn.  The school was built in 2009 and includes an ELC and ASN Provision. For session 2024/25 we will have 9 classes, 1 enhanced nurture class, 3 Complex Needs classes, also known as the Cuiken Nest and an ELC setting. Our current leadership team is made up of an Acting Head Teacher, Acting Depute Head Teacher and Principal Teacher.
